Off-the-road, or OTR, tires are built for use on heavy machinery such as cranes, construction dump trucks, graders, skid steer loaders, and other heavy-duty construction and industrial vehicles.

OTR tires need to be strong enough to carry the weight of their heavier vehicles, while also offering drivers enhanced durability that can withstand damage from demanding use at job sites. OTR tires are commonly available in three tread designs - bias, bias-belted, and radial varieties - and are built to plow through rough and soft terrains to not hinder work progress.
